Pedrinha é um sobrevivente da Chacina da Candelária: escondido sobre a banca de jornal, ele assistiu ao assassinato de oito meninos de rua. Ao narrar os acontecimentos da madrugada, Pedrinha revela uma sociedade que nega a vida desses meninos até a morte!
Ainda que encene um acontecimento histórico, o espetáculo não se restringe ao documentário. A pesquisa incluiu a observação de meninos de rua em Campinas, Rio de Janeiro e São Paulo e a inspiração em “Macário”, conto de Juan Rulfo.

Pedrinha is a survivor of the Candelária slaughter: hiding on the newsstand, he watched the murder of eight street children. When narrating the events of dawn, Pedrinha reveals a society that denies the life of these boys until their death! Although it enacts a historical event, the show is not restricted to documentaries. The research included the observation of street children in Campinas, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo and the inspiration in “Macário”, a short story by Juan Rulfo.
